Marina Rebuild Update

Hi Everyone,

First of all, HAPPY NEW YEAR!  We hope you have enjoyed your holiday season.

We also hope you are all enjoying the photos of the marina rebuild.  Quite a bit has been accomplished so far, as the good weather has allowed Radtke to really make some good progress:

  • The entire retaining wall around the harbor has been installed and backfilled with rock.
  • Riprap has been installed in front of the retaining wall.
  • The wharf stringers and joists have been installed.
  • The dredging of the marina is complete!

The next steps will be to install the electrical, plumbing, cable TV, and then put the decking on the wharf.  Finger pier pile driving will begin shortly and will go throughout the winter.   Everything is on track for a May 1st completion, and perhaps more importantly, is still on budget!

We are still working on getting together designs and costs for boarding stairs.  Our rebuild committee has been in discussions with Radtke regarding the various options for number of stairs and width of stairs.  When that information is available we will distribute it to all the owners.
